Be free from self torture.

As the first son of his family, every responsibility was left for him. He was made to forefeet so many privileges. While his other siblings were allowed to go to school, having fun and enjoying themselves, he was sent to work, so as to raise money for the training of others. He was made to believe when he helps in training his siblings now they will in turn help him, and even help training his own children in future but it never happened. All grew, got educated and went their separate ways. This man became frustrated and was highly bitter. Although, he is a Christian but found it difficult to forgive his siblings. For years, he suffered so many severe diseases and illness. He also suffered financial frustrations and his home was in shambles. Why? “For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” (James 1:20). This maybe your case or perhaps you have been raped, a close friend or loved one has been snatch from you. You have been a victim of evil conspiracy and have no way of defending yourself. You found out that you spouse has been unfaithful on you or that you married the wrong person and also stuck. You lost your job, you home and all your savings. You are a victim of betrayal and God let it happen after all your goodness, kingdom service and investments. Right now, you are pondering if there is God and why is He so unfair. Watch this, “Take heed to yourselves, if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him, and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee saying, I repent, thou shall forgive him” (Luke 17:3-5). This is a commandment so many are missing in our time and so bringing torture on themselves. How could you deliberately be yourself torturer? So many families are under torture because of wrath, anger, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of the mouth, and lies the tell one another. “Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.” (Colossians 3:6, Ephesians 5:6). Have you told your children the evil you uncles, aunt, and siblings did to you thereby transferring un-forgiveness and enacting generational wrath which brings generational torture. A particular tribe has consistently lived in generational emotional and marital torture because of transferred generational wrath. “And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the lord.” (Ephesians 6:4). What have you been feeding your children over the years sir? Could it be the so called generational curse plaguing your home (generational caesarean sections, cancers, academic stagnation, financial stagnation, e. t. c), is as a result of transferred wrath (un-forgiveness). Why bring torture to yourself? “Then Peter came to him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Upto seven times?” Jesus said to him, “ I donot say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And when he had began to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, “master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all. Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgive him the debt. But the servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii, and he laid hands on him saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all. And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, “you wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?. And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.” (Mathew 18:21-34). Un-forgiveness brings torture which has a heavy price tag. “His master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made.” It is a generational debt! Good news! Today the price has been paid and your days of torture are over. How do I get freed from self torture? Have faith in God and His word (Jesus). “And the apostles said unto the lord, increase our faith.” (Luke 17:5). Jesus has sent you free from all tortures having dead for you on the cross. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” (John 8:36). Please stop hindering the effect of what Jesus has done for you on the cross. And Jesus is saying “Now when you forgive anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, lest Satan should take advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Corinthian 2:10-11). Don’t be an instrument of your own torture! Forgive! Forgive that man or woman! Forgive that family! Forgive that institution! Forgive that country! Forgive God! And be free from torture. You desire freedom, say this prayers loudly. Father, you said in your word I shall know the truth and the truth shall make me free (John 8:32). I acknowledge my sins of un-forgiveness and that of my father’s house and today, I forgive (List names) with the forgiveness of Jesus. Therefore, father, forgive me now all my sins, transgressions and iniquities (Mathew 6:12, 14). I love (List names) with the love of Jesus, and now by the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus, I forget the incidents of offence. Thank you Jesus for I am free from ALL torture right now and am born again. I ask that you give me the Holy spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of my inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14), with the evidence off speaking in tongues (Act 2:1-4). Amen! I pray for you now receive you the Holy Ghost and I command your mouth to open, begin to speak in tongues in the name of Jesus. Amen! No more torture!
