Scattered Bedding.

O As a traveler, I have to check into a hotel most times to have a place to rest my head to begin the journey the following day. In my travel engagements, I have come to this realization, must people don’t arrange the beddings the used over the night when they checkout of the hotel room. This is a task left for the room attendants to do overtime. But, I know just one man that never forgets to arrange the bed he used whenever he checks out of a hotel. He was also a traveller a very good one. This man I know to be a hard worker and always on a tight schedule 365 days of his time but will always remember to arrange the bed wherever he has to rest for the night. He became so addicted to this habit that arranged bedding in the most unusual place one can rest his/her head (A sepulchre). This man’s name is Jesus your savior and my savior. And he (John) stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying, yet went he not in. Then came Simon Peter following him (John), and went into the sepulcher, and saw the linen clothes lie (the “lie” indicates that this material was neatly folded), And the napkin, that was about His Head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. John 20:6-7 The person addressed here is Jesus the anointed messiah and the writer is John a medical doctor. Doctors are trained to be detailed and careful. People arriving at an accident scene will hurriedly or barely observe anything but the state of the victim but medical personnel will take time to observe the environs one where the accident occurred and take notes. This is part of their skill. Jesus waking up from sleep in a borrowed tomb, took time to neatly fold the linen he used. He also took time to wrap together the napkin he used to cover him. This is no act of a person in a hurry to leave; this is an act of a deliberate man with a loving heart. Men will rent your time, energy, emotions, borrow your hard earned money, your property etc. and forget to return it in one piece, but I know a man who never leaves you scattered after dealing with you. He will never meet you scattered and leave you unarranged. Throughout Jesus traveling ministry, He was going about doing good. (Act 10:38). He met a man whose destiny was in shambles at a grave yard, He (Jesus) fixed him. He saw Peter mother in law lying sick on a bed, He (Jesus) fixed her. A woman, with issue of blood meets him and was arranged. Peter fishing business was experiencing breakdown on renting his ship to Jesus, the business was arranged. A prostitute, who body, and mind has been abused by men meet Jesus and her entire life was arrange. Maybe, your relationship is in shamble, maybe you are in serious debt and don’t know how to pay up. Today that same Jesus whose habit is arranging scattered beddings will arrange you, your relationship and all that concerns you. Will you be kind enough to rent him your ship? Will you allow Him spend just one night in your house. The scripture says your body is the temple of God. Jesus camping in your body, He will never leave you unarranged. A tomb represents a place of pity, mourning and weeping. No matter how pitiful your destiny is, Jesus will arrange it once you rent it to Him.
