A writer once said, “Christians love God, and we are always proclaiming our love for Him in songs, poems, and literature, but to what extent do we really love Him? Many kneel and weep while singing and praising the Lord. Some are not as verbal or expressive but they dedicate themselves to helping the local church, to donating tithes and offerings faithfully, and to sacrificing time and money to serve others. These are all expressions of love, but what is God’s test for love?”

Obedience! For Jesus says, “If you love me keep my commandment. (John 14:15).” A son can spend millions on a father (cash gift) but still not please him. A husband can spend thousands of dollars on a wife but still not please her, but a simple act of obedience to those small laws of the father and wife can make him/her pour blessings on you or follow you to places unimaginable. These are the nature of God. “Go and say to the people in Judah and Jerusalem, “Come and learn a lesson about how to obey me. The Recabites do not drink wine to this day because their ancestor Jehonadab told them not to. But I have spoken to you again and again, and you refuse to obey me.” Jeremiah 35:13-14

These people also obeyed the world of their father even when the moved to another geographical area where there believe is insignificant. “So we have obeyed him in all these things. We have never had a drink of wine to this day, nor have our wives, our sons, or our daughters. We haven’t built houses or owned vineyards or farms or planted crops. We have lived in tents and have fully obeyed all the commands of Jehonadab, our ancestor. But when king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon attacked this country, we were afraid of the Babylonian and Syrian armies. So we decided to move to Jerusalem. That is why we are here.” Jeremiah 35:8-11.

How many Christians has thrown their identity away just being in the mist of who knew them not? How often have the children of the Most High God stops obeying God as soon as the move to Jerusalem? The sit around in Jerusalem counting blessings and giving themselves high five’s, forgetting to continue doing what they were doing before coming to Jerusalem. Thus, our Jerusalem has turned to a DEAD ZONE. The reward for obedience has been long live, safety, and good lives in the land, Jeremiah 35:7, Leviticus 25:18, 1 King 3:14, 1 King 11:38, Psalm 39:1, Proverb 4:4, John 8:51-52.

Law of obedience will be effective on whoever applies it. Our brothers possessed by the Ismael spirit, obey the law of their prophet with all sense of responsibility and promptness thus they are taking over the higher grounds, living the good live and spreading all over the earth. We the children of God, living in fear and disobedience are busy sitting around yawning.

Oh! How long will a man or woman who decides to take a bullet for Jesus will live. Take that bullet, dare that government with anti-Christ laws with an understanding He promised I will not die doing it. Sir! You will live and not die.

What is our father’s dying wish?  “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the Age.” (Mathew 28:19-20). Our Father has the key of life and death, and He is with us when we are going to do His dying wish. He will not watch you die in the field.
